Wisdom tooth removal cost in Jaipur
Removing an impacted wisdom tooth (third molar impaction) is ₹ 4,000 – 5,000 at our hospital. A surgical extraction is ₹ 5,000 and a straightforward extraction of a firm tooth is ₹ 1,200. The difference is how deeply the tooth is buried and how close it lies to nerves and the sinus, which is judged on imaging.

What changes the final number
- Whether the tooth is erupted, partially erupted or fully impacted in bone
- Proximity to the inferior alveolar nerve or maxillary sinus, seen on CBCT
- Number of teeth removed in the same sitting
- Whether sedation or general anaesthesia is clinically indicated
- Whether sutures and follow-up dressing are needed

Common questions about the cost
Why is my quote higher than the lowest listed extraction rate?
Because a buried wisdom tooth is a surgical procedure, not a simple extraction — it may require bone removal, sectioning of the tooth and suturing. The published list separates simple, surgical and impacted cases for exactly this reason.
Do I need a CBCT scan before wisdom tooth removal?
Not always. An IOPA or OPG is often enough. CBCT is used when the roots lie close to the nerve canal or sinus, because knowing that in advance is what keeps the surgery safe.
Will all four wisdom teeth be removed together?
Only if that is clinically appropriate and you prefer a single recovery period. Many patients have one side done at a time so eating stays comfortable.
