Will I be asleep during surgery?
It depends on the procedure and your preference. Many surgeries are comfortable under local anaesthesia; sedation and general anaesthesia are available for longer or more complex cases.
How much swelling should I expect?
Swelling peaks around 48 hours and settles over three to five days. Cold compresses, medication and rest shorten it considerably.
Is wisdom tooth removal risky?
Serious complications are uncommon when the case is planned on a CBCT scan and performed by a specialist surgeon. We discuss the specific risks for your anatomy beforehand.
