Full mouth scaling is ₹ 2,000 at our hospital and polishing is ₹ 500. Gum disease that has progressed beyond cleaning is charged by procedure — gingivectomy ₹ 2,000 per quadrant, splinting ₹ 2,500 and flap surgery ₹ 8,000 with the affected quadrant.

How often should scaling be repeated?
Twice a year suits most people. Smokers, diabetics, orthodontic patients and anyone with treated gum disease often need a shorter interval, set after their gum assessment.
Is flap surgery always needed for bleeding gums?
No. Most bleeding gums respond to scaling and corrected home care. Surgery is reserved for sites where deep pockets and bone loss persist after the non-surgical phase.
Does insurance or a panel cover gum treatment?
Preventive cleaning is often excluded while defined periodontal procedures may be covered, depending on the scheme's package list. The front desk confirms this for your specific case.
