A denture replaces multiple missing teeth and restores chewing, speech and facial support. Whether it is comfortable depends far more on the accuracy of the impressions and the bite registration than on the price of the acrylic.

We also fit implant-retained overdentures, which clip onto two to four implants. For lower jaws in particular, where conventional dentures are notoriously unstable, this changes the experience entirely.

Why lower dentures move

An upper denture is held by suction across the palate. A lower denture has no such surface — it sits on a narrow ridge with the tongue and cheeks moving against it constantly, which is why patients tolerate the upper and struggle with the lower.

Two implants with locator attachments solve this at a fraction of the cost of full-arch fixed teeth. For most long-term denture wearers this is the single highest-value upgrade available.

Bone changes and relining

The ridge under a denture continues to resorb over the years. A denture that fitted perfectly at delivery will loosen — this is bone change, not poor workmanship.

A reline every two to three years restores the fit at modest cost. Continuing with a loose denture accelerates ridge loss and causes ulceration, so it is worth attending to promptly.

What your treatment journey looks like

  1. Step 1
    Assessment

Ridge examination, existing denture review and discussion of implant options.

  2. Step 2
    Impressions & bite

Primary and secondary impressions, then careful jaw relation registration.

  3. Step 3
    Try-in

A wax try-in so tooth position, shade and lip support are approved before processing.

  4. Step 4
    Delivery & review

Fitting, adjustment appointments in the first fortnight, then annual review.

Frequently asked questions

How much do dentures cost in Jaipur?

A complete upper and lower set commonly ranges from about ₹15,000 to ₹45,000 depending on the teeth and base materials. Implant-retained overdentures start higher because of the implant component.

How long until I can eat normally?

Expect two to four weeks of adaptation with new complete dentures, starting with soft foods cut small and chewing on both sides together.

Can I sleep with them in?

It is better not to. The tissues need several hours a day without load, and overnight wear increases the risk of fungal infection.

Why this matters for your case

Dentures & Complete Dentures in a hospital setting, not a single chair

Most dental care in Jaipur is delivered from single-chair clinics. The difference shows up when a case needs bone work, sedation, inpatient monitoring or a second speciality on the same day.
