Full mouth rehabilitation is what is needed when teeth are severely worn, when a bite has collapsed after years of missing back teeth, when erosion has flattened the enamel, or when extensive old dentistry is failing across both arches.

It combines several disciplines — periodontics, endodontics, implants, prosthodontics, occlusion — which is precisely why it belongs in a hospital where those specialists plan the case at the same table.

The diagnosis comes before the dentistry

Before any tooth is prepared, we establish why the mouth reached this state. Bruxism, acid reflux, dietary erosion, long-term missing molars, or a combination — the cause determines whether the reconstruction survives.

Records are mounted and the intended bite is designed in wax before treatment begins. Rebuilding a collapsed bite tooth by tooth without that plan is how expensive dentistry fails within two years.

Testing the new bite before it is permanent

Where the vertical dimension has to be increased, we build the new bite in temporary restorations and you live in them for several weeks. Jaw comfort, speech and chewing are assessed before anything definitive is made.

Adjustments made in temporaries cost nothing. The same adjustments made in fitted zirconia cost a great deal.

Sequencing and time

Gum health is stabilised first, then endodontics and extractions, then implants where required, then provisional restorations, and only then the definitive prosthetics.

A full case typically runs six to twelve months. For patients travelling from outside Jaipur we group the stages to keep the number of trips as low as clinically sensible.

What your treatment journey looks like

  1. Step 1
    Records & diagnosis

CBCT, photographs, mounted casts, occlusal analysis and a cause-of-damage assessment.

  2. Step 2
    Stabilisation

Periodontal therapy, root canals and extractions completed first.

  3. Step 3
    Provisional phase

The proposed bite built in temporaries and tested in real function.

  4. Step 4
    Definitive restorations

Final ceramics and implant prostheses delivered, with a nightguard and review schedule.

Frequently asked questions

What does full mouth rehabilitation cost?

It varies more than any other treatment because the components differ so widely — typically from a few lakh rupees upward. A written, itemised estimate follows the diagnostic workup, before treatment starts.

Can it be done in stages for cost reasons?

Yes, and it often is. The sequence is planned so each stage is functional and stable in its own right rather than leaving you mid-treatment.

Will I be without teeth at any point?

No. Provisional restorations are in place throughout so you are never sent home without a functioning, presentable set of teeth.

Why this matters for your case

Full Mouth Rehabilitation in a hospital setting, not a single chair

Most dental care in Jaipur is delivered from single-chair clinics. The difference shows up when a case needs bone work, sedation, inpatient monitoring or a second speciality on the same day.
