Clear aligners are a series of transparent, removable trays that move teeth in small increments. Each set is worn for one to two weeks, and the sequence is planned digitally from the start position to the final result before the first tray is made.
They are genuinely invisible in normal conversation and they come out for eating, which is why adult professionals overwhelmingly choose them over fixed braces.
What aligners do well, and what they do not
They are excellent for crowding, spacing, mild to moderate relapse after previous orthodontics, and arch levelling in adults.
Large rotations of round teeth, significant bodily movement, extraction space closure and severe skeletal discrepancies are handled more predictably with fixed appliances or, in skeletal cases, with surgery. We will recommend braces when braces are the right tool, even though aligners are the more popular request.
Compliance decides the outcome
Aligners work for 20 to 22 hours a day. At 14 hours a day they do not track, the teeth fall behind the plan, and treatment stretches by months with refinement scans along the way.
This is the single most important thing to know before choosing them. If you know you will not wear them, fixed braces will give a better result for less money.
Retention
Teeth relapse. Every orthodontic case, aligner or braces, needs retainers — usually a fixed wire behind the front teeth plus a removable retainer at night, indefinitely.
This is quoted as part of treatment rather than presented as a surprise at the end.
What your treatment journey looks like
- Step 1Records & scan
Photographs, radiographs and an intraoral digital scan of both arches.
- Step 2Digital plan
A simulation of the tooth movements and the final result, reviewed with you.
- Step 3Aligner wear
Trays changed every one to two weeks, with review appointments every six to eight weeks.
- Step 4Refinement & retention
Final detailing scan if needed, then fixed and removable retainers.
Frequently asked questions
How much do clear aligners cost in Jaipur?
Commonly ₹90,000 to ₹2,50,000, priced by the number of aligner sets your case requires, which is set by how far the teeth have to move.
How long does treatment take?
Mild cases six to nine months, moderate cases twelve to eighteen months. Wear time compliance affects this more than anything else.
Do aligners hurt?
Pressure and tenderness for a day or two after each new tray is normal and is the sign that they are working. It is generally milder than the discomfort after a braces adjustment.
Clear Aligners in a hospital setting, not a single chair
Most dental care in Jaipur is delivered from single-chair clinics. The difference shows up when a case needs bone work, sedation, inpatient monitoring or a second speciality on the same day.

Who treats you, and what stands behind it
Patients travelling from Jaipur are seen by the specialist whose field the problem sits in — not by whoever is free. Every plan is imaged, written down and costed before treatment begins.
Leads the surgical and implant service — single-tooth to full-arch and zygomatic rehabilitation, impacted third molars, cysts, jaw pathology and facial trauma, all planned on CBCT before surgery.
Handles crowns, veneers, full-mouth rehabilitation and implant prosthetics, designed digitally and milled on the in-house CAD/CAM unit for shade and fit accuracy.
Treats painful, previously failed and calcified canals under a dental operating microscope, including retreatment and apical surgery where a tooth is worth saving.
Sterilisation, records and patient-safety protocols independently audited — rare in dentistry.
